Hope is not just a word, it’s action, compassion, and the courage to serve.
In a powerful display of youth-led impact, the Self Reliance Empowerment Foundation (SREF), in partnership with Water Is Life and Franklin Middle School in Idaho, brought transformation to D Rose Foundation in Jamestown, Accra, Ghana.
This heartwarming outreach combined the energy of young changemakers with the resources of global partners to meet urgent needs and uplift vulnerable children.

The outreach brought critical services and support to vulnerable children and community members, addressing some of the most pressing needs they face.
-
Health Screening: Qualified healthcare professionals provided essential medical checkups for orphans and nearby residents, promoting early detection and long-term wellness.
-
Food Support: The team distributed generous donations including rice, sugar, baby food, toiletries, biscuits, drinks, and detergents bringing relief and sustenance to children and caregivers at the orphanage.
-
Clean Water Access: A large poly water tank was installed to provide the orphanage with safe and reliable water storage, ensuring better hygiene and daily living conditions.

This outreach is a testament to the power of youth-led innovation, collaboration across borders, and a shared belief in the dignity and potential of every human being.
None of this would have been possible without the heartfelt support of our partners, donors, and volunteers. Your contributions turned vision into action, bringing healing, nourishment, and clean water to children in need.
As SREF continues to empower communities in Ghana, Tanzania, Idaho, and beyond, we invite you to join us in this life-changing mission. Together, we can build a more self-reliant, compassionate, and hopeful world-one act of service at a time.
