Filled with purpose and passion, on February 20, 2025, the Self Reliance Empowerment Foundation (SREF) proudly launched its Back to School Initiative at Private Odartey Lamptey School, bringing smiles, hope, and opportunities to vulnerable children at the basic education level. We distribute backpacks, notebooks, writing materials, and other educational supplies to needy students. For many, these items are more than just tools—they are symbols of care, opportunity, and the belief that they, too, can dream big and achieve greatness.

The atmosphere was filled with joy as volunteers and teachers came together to ensure every child felt seen, supported, and valued. Our Education Advocate, Prince Nwankwo, also held an inspiring session with the students, speaking to them about the importance of decision-making—a vital life skill that empowers children to grow with confidence, responsibility, and purpose.

This successful launch is only the beginning. Many more children still lack the resources they need to thrive in school. We invite partners, donors, and community members to join us in expanding this initiative.

Together, we can provide hope, education, and a pathway to a bright future.
