In a powerful display of youth-led impact, the Self Reliance Empowerment Foundation (SREF), in partnership with Water Is Life and Franklin Middle School in Idaho, brought transformation to D Rose Foundation in Jamestown, Accra, Ghana.

Filled with purpose and passion, on February 20, 2025, the Self Reliance Empowerment Foundation (SREF) proudly launched its Back to School Initiative

At the Self Reliance Empowerment Foundation (SREF), we believe that access to quality education is a right , not a privilege. In today’s digital age, technology plays an essential role in unlocking learning opportunities, especially for youth in underserved communities. One of the most powerful tools in this journey is the laptop.

In today’s world, having a personal laptop is not a luxury; it’s a necessity. Yet, in many communities across West Africa and beyond, countless bright, motivated students are unable to keep up with their education simply because they lack access to this essential tool.

At the Self Reliance Empowerment Foundation (SREF), we believe in a world where every individual, regardless of background, has the opportunity to rise above poverty and live with dignity.
