HopeAgain: A Yearly Celebration of Joy and Hope

Welcome to HopeAgain, a transformative yearly event organized by the Self Reliance Empowerment Foundation (SREF) in partnership with the Light the World Initiative, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and other compassionate orphanage homes and nonprofit organizations.

This special Christmas program is more than just a celebration—it’s a beacon of hope for vulnerable children and individuals living in extreme poverty. At HopeAgain, we remind every child and individual in attendance of one eternal truth: “The worth of every soul is great.”

Our Objectives:

Joy to Orphans

To bring joy and love to orphans, street children, and other vulnerable individuals, making them feel important and valued despite their circumstances.

Christlike Love Sharing

To share Christlike love and the spirit of self-reliance through exciting activities, motivational talks, and acts of service.

Register Vulnerable Individuals

To identify and register potential vulnerable individuals for our beneficiary support program, where they will gain access to food, shelter, education, skills training, and spiritual development.

Dance Competitions:

Watch the children showcase their talents in a fun-filled and energetic atmosphere.

Motivational Talks:

Hear life-changing messages from General Authorities and Seventies of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as community leaders and popular personalities like David Boyer and Leta Green.

Christmas Cheer:

Enjoy music, delicious meals, and the magic of the holiday season in an environment of love and fellowship.
